Although the event is a year away, we can present the framework program now. The schedule includes two debates, two plenary sessions, a roundtable, numerous panel sessions, and one study visit.
WMEMC 2025 is five days of meetings, debates, discussions and networking. It is initiated by a welcome banquet with the Organizers and Partners (May 20). On Wednesday (May 21), the substantive part of the conference opens with a debate on the implementation of AI in the media (with media representatives, scientists and lawyers), while it ends with a discussion of cooperation between scientists and the media. On May 22 (Thursday), our guests will attend a lecture by the first keynote speaker. On Friday (May 23), our second keynote speaker will speak. It should be noted that extensive Q&A sessions accompany the keynote speeches. After Friday’s panel sessions, a trip to the headquarters of the chosen media outlet is waiting for you.
We are planning a roundtable during the conference, to which we have invited editors-in-chief of magazines thematically close to WMEMC. We want them to share their experience, advice and comments on opportunities to publish in prestigious periodicals.
Of course, WMEMC 2025 is not just about learning. We want you to make the most of networking opportunities. Wednesday evening hides a surprising artistic surprise. Thursday is a time for fun in a relaxed and casual atmosphere. Friday is a gala “gala dinner”, during which, among other things, we will announce the host of WMEMC 2027. On the last day, Saturday (May 24), we will kidnap participants into an unconventional journey under the old, new and future Warsaw. Urban folk, local delicacies and non-obvious attractions will show attendees a capital they have never heard of before and never expected to see.
