Prof. Mark Deuze will deliver a lecture during the first plenary session, which will take place on May 22, 2025 (Thursday), from 9:00-11:00 am.
Mark Dezue (University of Amsterdam, Netherlands) is one of the most recognized scholars in contemporary media studies. His work is globally renowned, and his publications, including those in media management and media economics, have entered the canon of global media studies. He gives lectures and readings all over the world and has now accepted an invitation to join us! In Warsaw, he will focus on digital disruption and future media regarding well-being.
The entire lecture will last 45 minutes. Afterwards, we invite you to a 45-minute moderated discussion on managing emotions and feelings in and through the media. Perhaps we can reflect together on the fact that in times of negativity, anxiety and disruption, there is still a place for positive experiences in creating and using media.
