WMEMC Participants will listen to the lecture „Mediamorphosis of the Polish Media System: Long-term Perspective.” Be ready on May 23, 9.30-11.00 a.m. to hear about the Polish media landscape’s complicated history, present and future. It will be a remarkable dive into theory and practice-based speech, presented by one of our country’s most prominent researchers on media economics.

Tadeusz is a professor at the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Journalism, Information and Book Studies.

He has been a media expert since 1978, specialising in media economics, media management, and social media. He is a Former Council of Europe expert on pluralism and new communication technologies, director of the National Film Archive, member of the board of the Association of the Cinémathèques Européennes, and member of the Supervisory Board of public television.

He is an author of several classical in Poland publications, including: “Media and Money,” (1998), “Media on the Market. Introduction Into Media Economics,” (2006) “Between Creativity and Business. Introduction Into Media and Entertainment Management,” (2008) “Media Management ” (2013).

Since 2022, a member of the National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT).
