Meet the guest editors, too:

Anna Jupowicz-Ginalska (leading co-editor), a.ginalska@uw.edu.pl Associate Professor in the Faculty of Journalism, Information and Book Studies, and the deputy director at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences (both at University of Warsaw, Poland). She is the WMEMC2025 Organizer and Local Host Representative. Her research focuses on media management & economics and the impact of new technologies on media and audiences. She is the author of numerous papers and a member of the Boards/Councils in the Journal of Media Business Studies, Styles of Communication, Revista Multidisciplinar, and JOCIS. She served as a Board member of the European Media Management Association. In 2023, she received the title of Polish Congresses Ambassador.

María Elena Gutiérrez Rentería, Professor (Jefe de Academia de Administración y Economía / Escuela de Comunicación, Universidad Panamericana, Mexico), egutierr@up.edu.mx. Professor in the School of Communication at Universidad Panamericana, campus Guadalajara, México. She was formerly dean of the School of Communication and director of the Secretary of the Academic Committee at the School of Business and Economics. She has been a visiting Professor at the College of Media & Communication, Texas Tech University, United States. Gutiérrez Rentería was a member of the National System of Researchers in Mexico and currently serves on the International Journal on Media Management. She is a Doctor in Public Communication at Universidad de Navarra, Spain, and has a Diploma from the Institute for Media and Entertainment (New York).

Jaemin Jung, Professor (Moon Soul Graduate School of Future Strategy, South Korea), nettong@gmail.com. He has a Ph.D. from the University of Florida, too. In 2021, he was a Guest Editor in Digital Journalism Special Issue (“Engaging News Audience”). He also participates in the Journal of Media Economics as an Area Editor, Journalism & Mass Communication Quarterly on the Editorial Board, the International Journal on Media Management on the Editorial Board, and the Journal of Media Business Studies in the Editorial Board. His research areas are media management, economics, and policy; audience engagement, adoption, and resistance; and artificial Intelligence in journalism and media.
